Ian Sims, M.Sc. Chairman and Chief Investment Officer

Ian has enjoyed a highly successful career, beginning in 1980, in the field of global fixed income and currency investment management. His work experience includes fixed income portfolio management at the Royal Bank of Canada and Hill Samuel Investment Advisors. He became a founder and director of Delaware International Advisers, Ltd., where he worked for nearly 10 years. At the time of his departure he was Chief Investment Officer-Global Fixed Income. Ian has a strong academic background with graduate and post-graduate degrees in mathematics, economics and statistics, and has authored a widely read publication on the use of real yields in global bond management.

Keith Lloyd, M.Sc., CFA Principal, Investments

Keith began his career in 1983 as an international macro-monetary economist and investment manager. His work experience includes seven years with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as an economist where he served on its policy-making committee, followed by eight years at the World Bank. Keith spent a number of successful years in the World Bank's Investment Department managing global real and leveraged money as a lead fixed income portfolio manager, senior investment strategist and proprietary trader. Keith has authored several exchange and interest rate papers.

Kathryn Elsby, B.Sc. Principal, Investments

Kathryn has many years investment experience in fixed-income portfolio management and research. A graduate in mathematics, Kathryn began her investment career in 1983 at Manufacturer's Life. From 1983 to 1999 Kathryn was employed in a number of portfolio management and research capacities at Hill Samuel (latterly within its subsidiary IAI Inter- national). Kathryn has had extensive experience in global bond management since the early days of the market's modern development.

Eddie Wong, B.Sc. Principal, Risk Management

Eddie began his career in investment management, derivatives and risk management in 1975. Previously, Eddie held a number of senior positions at the Royal Bank of Canada including Director of Risk Management, European Head of Derivatives and Treasurer & General Manager for Asia. After leaving RBC, he was the Treasurer for the Korea Development Bank, London branch.

Mamak Shahbazi, B.Sc. Principal, Marketing

Mamak began her career in the field of investments in 1983. Her previous position was Director, Institutional Marketing at the hedge fund firm Zweig-DiMenna Associates. She spent more than eight years at Delaware International Advisors as Head of Global Bond Marketing and more than eight years at CS First Boston as Vice President, Fixed Income Investments. Mamak received a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland.
